こんにちは。立春が過ぎたというのに今週末はまた冬の寒さに
逆戻り・・・との天気予報がうらめしい福岡です。
みなさまはどんな週末をお過ごしでしょうか？
さて、いよいよ明日は「子どものためのオペラとコーラス・泣いた赤鬼」です。
今日は、本番さながらのリハーサルが行われている「キャナルシティ劇場」に
行ってきました。
歌手の方たちはみなさまキャスター付きの
キャリーケースなど大きな荷物で集合です。
みなさん、ご自分の秘密、必須アイテムなどをお持ちのご様子でした。
初めての舞台裏の通路です。
「舞台下手」
これは「ぶたいしもて」と読みます。
客席から見て左手が下手（しもて）、右手が上手（かみて）と言うのだそうです。
今回、指揮をして下さるのはザ・カレッジ・オペラハウス管弦楽団正指揮者の牧村邦彦先生です。舞台の演者の方の心の動き＝音楽＝歌、と牧村氏のうごきが見事に連動していて舞台を見ながら牧村先生の指揮、動きにも目が離せない感じです。
指揮者の方の顔は見えないけれども動きを見ているだけで悲しいシーンなのか楽しい場面なのか、わかってしまうほどです。
そして演出家。
演出家というと男性のイメージが強い方も多いと思いますが今回の演出家は「関西歌劇団オペラ研修所」の講師でもある唐谷裕子先生です。
関西弁でてきぱきと演出をつけていきます。
舞台、客席を縦横無尽に走り回り、楽譜に何やら書き込み・・・。
見ているだけで目がまわりそう！
大忙しの唐谷先生です。
このたび、「青鬼くん」は関西二期会から萩原次己さんです。
この写真を撮っている時にいきなりお部屋の中から
「はははは〜」という声が聞こえてきてびっくりしてしまいちょっと写真がぶれてます。
赤鬼さん。
「人生でこんなに赤くなることはないです〜」と
メイク中にもリラックスしているご様子でみつばちを笑わせてくれる心やさしい赤鬼くんです。
村人さんのあしもと。
わらじ。
これ、ご自身で結んで？はいてらっしゃいました。
日本のオペラ歌手はわらじだって履けるんです。
見にくいですが、このテレビモニターは舞台をうつしています。楽屋にいる演者の方たちが今、舞台で何をしているかってわかるようになってるんですね。
さて、今回の「泣いた赤鬼」ではご覧頂くみなさまに「ご協力をお願いしております」
携帯電話の電源をお切り下さいませ。
前の人の席を蹴らないで下さい。
・・・これは映画館、劇場では必ずあるお願いですね。
今回、とっても大切なお願いがございます。
「一緒に歌って下さい！」
どんな歌を歌っていただくかは当日のお楽しみです。
プロの歌手の方が丁寧にわかりやすく教えてくれます。
「ふりつき」ですよ！お子様はきっとすぐ覚えてしまうでしょう。
お父様お母様、おじいちゃまおばあちゃま・・・みなさん恥ずかしがらずに
手を大きくあげて、思い切り歌って下さい。
明日は、いよいよ本番です。
舞台裏のおはなしはまた、公演後のお楽しみにとっておきたいと思います。
舞台セットも大道具さんの腕のみせどころ。
舞台の上のセットはもちろん「背景」にもご注目下さいませ。
